Ten Frame Floor Center

Fairy Tale Fun

I love getting great ideas from pinterest.  This is our Jack and the Beanstalk project.  My kids wrote about what Jack found at the top of the beanstalk to add to our art project.  The writings and the art turned out great.

Jack Hartmann Concert

We have been fortunate enough to have Jack come do a concert for us the last three years.  The kids and I always have a great time.

My Father's Feet...Penguin Fun

 We found out just how difficult it is for penguins to take care of their eggs.  We tried walking with our egg on our feet and passing the egg off to "daddy penguin" for him to take over.

New Year's Resolutions

We talked about what a resolution is and then I let each one share what they wanted their resolution for the new year would be.  They came up with some great ones.  Here are just a few.
.....to give my friends an "I" message.
.... to do good work everyday.
.... to make my bed
.... to clean my room when my mom tells me
.... to get my bath when I am supposed to
.... to not scream at my friend Julien
.... to pick-up my toys.

I have to say, I was really impressed with all their resolutions.  We then made a New Year's Resolution person with out resolution written beside them.

Halloween Fun

Okay, I could not pass on the opportunity to have some fun for Halloween.  My students loved the funny Halloween glasses and I loved how hilarious they looked in them.

Red Ribbon Week Rock Stars

The kids always love our dress-up days during Red Ribbon Week.
